Reggae Dancing: Damn those girls are Hawt!

I'm going for Reggae class on Sunday and I'm praying that the instructor knows his choreography and that his music is good and that we'll be doing a hell of alot of booty shaking. Since Rash and David isn't around to bump me into booty shakin' hell like they usually do.. I haven't gotten my booty shaking fix in a while now! I want!!

How do you do a proper booty shake? Check out my post on that HERE!

Reggae is quite similar to Reggaetton *which I love to bits!* Its very ME. Anyone who's seen me move before knows thats its very me to move like that.. just that I want to LOOK LIKE THEM! Body wise.. damn!! LOOK AT THEIR ASSES AND LEGS!! I want! I want!! I want!!! *time to do more squats* WhooooTT!!

Don't click on this one if you're adversed to seeing too much ASS & flesh. No, seriously.. don't say I didn't warn u. I was moving from gasping in amazement and holding my breathe while Nina shook her booty.. Okay.. as Shelly says it, her dance routine is very in your face and vulgar. BUT.....WAH LAU EH! She's got a killer body can! Her thighs are SOO defined, Her ASS.. - really nothing to say but WHOAA!, her arms.. I want those arms.. and her body.. sigh.. DAMN girl! She's HAAAWT! *Contemplating.. now how do I get a body like that...?? *

UPDATE: Went for Reggae class today at Bugis. It was CF's first Reggae class. Toby, the instructor did up a routine with the song "Run the Show" by Kat DeLuna. Very Catchy and a really good track beat to dance to.. Good Song Choice I must say.

I would say though that what he did in class, even though there was a mixture of a little hiphop/jazz moves.. Its nothing that David has not done before in Rumba class. If anything, instead of Reggae class, David should introduce a COMPLETELY REGGAETTON class. Definitely a little more challenging. Alot more booty shaking and more exhilirating.

However, todays' class was still a good job well done. I'd take it if it was on schedule but I would still prefer Rumba/Reggaetton if it comes down to same time classes.

Do the boobs really have to go?

Apparently so.. in my first phase of weightloss, I didn't lose any boob and was quite happy about the possibility that I would be a busty slim woman.. but nooooo... *sigh*

Before I started to get massively gorilla like at my 100kg size, I was a comfortable C cup. I then moved up as the weight came in to a D/DD cup. When I was breastfeeding my children, I had E cups. They were so massive, I was like an exotic dancer. All you needed were sparkly bra bells and I'd qualify as an exotic dancer from Club Whoohooo! Even I was scared.

Then I went on this weightloss journey and in my first 20kg loss and hit 80kg, I was still a D/DD cup depending on brand... but as I progressed downwards towards the next 10kg to hit 70kg where I am now. I've noticed a SUBSTANTIAL boob loss! Volume has dropped tremendously and I even had CJ do a manual boob test.. *grab his hand and cup boob, bounce about and press squeese to test the volume* and he agreed with a smirk.. they're now on the smaller side of an average C cup. AAArrgh!!!

KNN!! How can!! And I still have another 15kg to go.. I've never been a B cup before.. will I be a B cup girl? Do the boobs REALLY have to go?! Really!? I'm NOT mentally prepared to be a B cup woman. I doubt it will disappear to an A cup. If it does, I'm going to start eating again to get back some boob fat. *WAILS* They're not even filling my strapless DD cup bras anymore.. if I want those hills and valleys, I would need to resort to *horrors* PADDING to plump it up! ....fucks... this is so not fair. *wails again*

And another thing.. I can see my ribs. Other people can see my ribs. Imagine that.. RIBS! At 70kg! WTF. Not at the sides torso but at my chest! When I raise my arms up and down, you can see my chest skin running over my chest bones thats protruding out!! Seriously.. WTF... so does that mean if I lose the final 15kg, my skin will sink into my bones?! Ugly can!!

Argh!! Okay.. enough ranting.. and time for some toots. I know I'll be ranting about the boobies soon again though.. *peeks down at shirt... wails....sob & pout*

Anyway.. boobies aside.. I'm loving how my arms are toning out. They're still relatively flabby but slowly but surely, they're getting some tone which is totally excellent. I haven't been disciplined to working them out harder than I could but I'll take this one slowly. Working on the arms too also means working the shoulders and I'm LOVING the shoulders totally! Whooot! It makes going out in tube tops and tank tops look yummy!

On another fitness note. TOOT ALERT!! My stamina as observed this evening is fantastic larh!! The multiple dance classes and weight classes I do in a day on a weekly basis, one after another has certainly built up the stamina to a great degree which proved itself this evening.

Since there were no dance classes today particularly, with my 2 favourite & highly preferred instructors out of action. One out of action till.. heaven knows when.. I hope she'll be back. And another in London...and only back next Friday *wails* I decided to go back to pounding the pavement instead of hitting the gym today.

Donned in my running gear which hasn't seen the light of day for some months now, I'm usually in dance gear & shoes and not my running outfit of my Nike tracks, running shorts and sports wind breaker. Yeah.. I run with a sports jacket. I head down for the evening for my run. Did my stretches and began my run at a reasonable but constant pace. What pace? Well listen to one of my running tracks I wrote about earlier and check out the beat.

I went around my estate. 1 round = 1km. I kept very good pace so it would be a good fat burn session and before I knew it. I had hit the 6th round, sweating but not drowning in perspiration, and breathing deep but not gasping and panting! I could have very well gone for another 2-3 more rounds and still be fine!

It just so happened also that before I went down, CJ advised that I keep my pace constant throughout this evenings' run and not go beyond 6 rounds, even if I could hit 8-9 rounds. He really knows what he's talking about and knows me so well! I really had to resist going for more and heeding his advise in not over running. Like.."how the heck did he know I would have completed the 6 rounds so easily?"

Personally, I was amazed at how calm and comfortable I was at that stage. The lighter body really makes alot of difference too as I really had to push through my 4-6 rounds before to finish it. Much less try to go for more. *pat pat self* I'm tempted to start running more again like before esp for those days that I don't have a proper class. And when I say proper... well, if David is teaching.. fine. If.. Daniel is teaching.. fine. If Ayesha on a non stop class is teaching.. fine.. but anyone else.. ARGHH! Kill me and send me to heaven instead. Waste of time going there because I don't get the work out I need. If I don't step out of dance class either wailing out of exhaustion, gasping, wheezing and walking out dripping in sweat.. its not enough.

Okay.. thats it for my rant and toot for this evening.. *peeks down shirt again - WAILS....* Do they REALLY have to go?

Workout Music: KernKraft 400 Zombie Nation

Yes, I listen to techno/house too. It helps me keep pace when I run so here's sharing my latest running track on my player. Really good for interval running as the beat is constant for most part of the song and heavy hitting and speeds up for short bursts once in a while.

If you're adverse to listening to techno, I'd advise not to click on this. This youtube clip up there is just the song actually without any moving visuals so you can sit back & listen, not be distracted by the moving images and see what I mean by a good track to keep pace. If you don't mind techno then check it out, this would be a good one to add to your running tracks.

Its on mine! Enjoy. :)

Attack of the Blogthings

I first saw this on Wendy's blog last night and today Shelly has some on her blog too! So in the attack of the Blogthings.. which got me rather intruiged... I went off to do some right after dinner.. so here goes...

There Are 0 Gaps in Your Knowledge

Where you have gaps in your knowledge:

No Gaps!

Where you don't have gaps in your knowledge:

Philosophy

Religion

Economics

Literature

History

Science

Art

Whoa!! Nothing to say lor... and those weren't questions that I'd usually ponder about too..not bad, not bad... *pat myself on my back*... bwuhahahaa.... next!

You Are Destined to Be Thin

Even if you aren't thin right now, you have great habits that will ensure you're thin for most of your life.

You have a great relationship with food and eating. Don't change a thing.

Uh huh... well.. I'm not slim. Yet... so... till then... WHATEVER... *hold up 6 fingers* okay.. next!

You Act Like You Are 27 Years Old

You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.

You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.

The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

Uh huh! Yeah! So.. I think like a 27 yo, LOOK? like a 27 yo? *wahahha thick skin* so.. okay.. I'm 27... *turning back the clock a couple years* heh heh... next!!!

You Are Ballroom Dancing

You are sophisticated and classy. Definitely not the type to be seen dancing on a bar.

You are a bit old fashioned. You prefer dance to be subtly sexy, not in your face sexy.

You are sentimental and nostalgic. You appreciate the beauty of old things.

You are even tempered and cooperative. You work well with a partner.

Uh huh.. so I suppose thats why my Zumba/Rumba dance classes are the perfect classes for me and why I can't seem to get hip hop choreo.. or maybe street just needs abit more practice to "engage" my brain as I can "get" the moves while they're being learnt step by step but once the music starts, I turn into a retard and stand there going "huh?" - brain goes blank.. body also dun respond... Do what again har? *meekly do a side step and run out of the studio wailing... cannot dance! cannot dance!!* Next!!

You Are Most Like Charlize Theron

“I think of myself as a highly sexual creature.”

Uh huh.. Charlize huh... oh alright.. she's hawt... movin' on... thats enough of these online tests.... off to get something to eat...BAH!

Chicken Cutlet, Sambal Longbeans & Omelette

We had Chicken Cutlet, Sambal Longbeans & Omelette for lunch today. A very simple but very satisfying lunch. *burp*

The chicken cutlets were ready made frozen and sold in packs of 14pcs for $9 from the wet market and it was VERY good, crispy and were all thigh meat! Not breastmeat to our surprise. Nice. Just deep fry each side for 1-2 minutes and they came out perfect!

Sambal Longbeans were simple too. Just mince garlic and 3 tablespoons of chili sambal paste - fry till fragrant then add in the long beans & stirfry for about 5 minutes. Eirian was my cooking assistant today and cut up the beans *About $1 worth* into little pieces.

Lauren was tasked to break 10 fresh eggs into a bowl, beat till fluffy & season and I cooked up to 5 round omelettes. Serve with rice or noodles. I made too much egg omelette and chicken cutlet so my girls will have chicken/egg sandwiches for dinner to finish everything up. Yummy!

How do you like your Oats & Macaroni?

I like mine warm & sticky with sugar, condensed milk, some butter, an egg and raisins, let out to cool so that the top gets a nice sticky dry layer on top that I have to "burst" and then covered with cold milk.

I would throw in some nuts if I had some but I didn't tonight. Maybe some fruits too if I had some about like grapes/strawberries/any berries... I like oats...

And in my house, my girls have this alot during the week.. at least twice a week for dinner. Macaroni boiled with hotdogs and combined with some cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. Optionals are more button mushrooms, some occassional cheese chips or cheese toast and topped with grated cheese. Dinner!

Would you Rather? Slow Vs. Fast

In reply to Nadnut's question of the week which I feel my post that I had previously written up upon would be suitable for. Nadia has since taken up a gym memberhip at CF and I've met with her several times already in my dance classes and working out.

Here's wishing her the best of luck and keep it consistent girl! Don't waste all that effort working out so hard and eating crap after yah?

Read it up HERE for my views to "Would you Rather? Slow Vs. Fast"

Assuming, you’ll like to lose some weight, Would You Rather?

1) Take it slow and steady and exercise

OR

2) Opt for faster results. Slimming centres, appetite suppression pills, liposuction and the like?

What do you think?

Russell Peters Live in Sg!

My friend and gym & makan buddy, Alex B. managed to book tickets for the sold out Russell Peters show - Red, White & Brown release last night when the tickets opened up last month.

*How I wish this pic was clearer than this... damn the taxi for being so dark! Hahahaha! Try again next time.. heh heh!*

It was a strange coincidence how Alex and I met. One day sometime back, this stranger named Alex added me on facebook. I rarely add strangers but I always give people the benefit of doubt incase my memory really failed me and I actually knew the person. And pleasantly, he gave me a decent proper response *finally!!* to his blank add to which I agreed to adding him to my account.

What happened after was bizarre, it lead to a series of uncanny similarities. Indeed a case of much less than 7 degrees of separation. In our conversations, we found to our amazement that we were both featured in the SAME MAGAZINE ARTICLE. Alex & his wife Carol were one of the other couples in the same feature. How weird a co-incidence is that?!

Then we realised that Carol took dance with me IN THE SAME dance classes! And that we all went to the same gym so we've all been working out together alot since then! Then we realised that we're exactly the same age so we had alot in common growing up - alot of topics to cover with that already as we reminisce childhood! Then being foodies we were, we all ate out together much to our waistlines revolting and the list goes on....and because we're all married couples, after getting to know Alex, I have a friend in Carol too! Very nice larh! *hugs these two, you cannot believe how sweet these 2 are...*

Anyway, we headed out to Russell Peters last night and had a really good laugh *very good for the mind & soul*. Russells' 3 night show sold out within the 2 days it was open for booking and I could see why. There were really some good new material he had come up with. It was a very pleasant evening too. We drowned ourselves in Carls Jnr Salsa with giant onion rings just before the show!! YUMMY!!

I was happily decked out in a frilly black tube corset top which I found was too large for me already..makes me look somewhat pregnant..bah!! Might want to sell it. This was paired with a pair of very nicely fitting *some freakingly expensive french brand can! - I balked when she told me how expensive it was* light blue jeans that Shelly gave me and boots.

I found in the course of trying on jeans to wear for the evening that I could FINALLY fit into a size 30 pair of jeans that I had put aside that someone had given to me before. I couldn't fit into it then and LO & behold...I now can. And it makes me a happy happy happy Chika!! From a size 40/44 jeans to 30... Phew!!~ Yayness!!

My ass is still huge though but WHATEVER... *putting up 6 fingers.. - refer to this post*

I'm still 70kg... I've been 70kg since I hit it last month... its obviously a plateau... but I'll wait patiently for it to break and still workout just as hard. I can only attribute being able to fit into new sizes now to gaining muscle mass... which would explain why no one believes I'm 70kg. All good anyhow.. all good.. :) Russell Peters IS DA MAN!! *cough... okay okay.. my sweetheart CJ is DA MAN... but.. anyway...errr.... moving on...cough cough*

RUSSELL Rocks!! Whooot!

I found one clip of Russell doing an old piece on a deaf girl. If you might be sensitive about this, don't watch it but I found it terribly hilarious!! Enjoy!

Prepared to be Annoyed!! Whatever!!~

Just the other day, I bumped into my sister, and her "boyfriend" John & his mom having dinner at the food court at Novena when I was there to check out Rashidah's last class. Seriously now though, John and Alex have been strange "he's my brother - she's my sister" friends for the longest time.. its time they get together already...everyones' just waiting.... *bored glazed stare at these 2*

And we all had a little banter and John's mom, who's filipina and is so wacky JUST LIKE MY MOM! just burst out with this little annoying exclamation which we found TOTALLY hilarious!

I'm sure my sister Alex and I will be using this alot and I used it at home when I got back and CJ found it so annoying! YESS!!! I love annoying him so now I get to say it once in a while and he can go AAAAARRRGHHHH!!! *rolls eyes*

Lauren used my phone and just recorded this for me.. hahhahaa!!

So add in a little eye rolling and a little "tsk tsk", put on your most DUH face and say this with me! *cough*

WHATEVER!! ITALICS!! BOLD!! UNDERLINE!!

Noodles make me Sleepy..

After work today, we had noodles for dinner. And Yea.. noodles make me sleepy. Why? Bc its carbs! Carbs make you feel sleepy after eating.. AFS *after food syndrome* thats what you get drowsy when u've eaten.. more blood is drawn to your digestive system but its particularly more pronounced when you eat carbs. I'm beginning to really dislike having carbs because I don't like this half zombified feeling after eating. I don't get this when I'm eating low/no carb! BAH!

So whats in the dinner bowl? A pack of soupy vegetarian noodles - quite yummy. Has seaweed in it!, a bundle of green leafy vegetables, an egg cracked into the soup, some egg omelette and some minced meat patties. Voila! Throw everything into a pot, top with fried onions *love fried onions btw* and then DINNER! *burp* Carbs... BAH...
